Hi Volunteers!

The Golden Spike Events Center will be the new venue for qualifications and final Olympic qualifier this year.  June 13-25, 2012

Welcome to the 2012 World Cup Archery Volunteer Hub Site.  We hope you will find this site informational as to the positions and shifts available to volunteer for throughout the event.    

In the Event Group Section, there is a list of locations where volunteers will be stationed: The Golden Spike Arena (GS), Lindquist Field (LF) and other physical locations) and then by the area of the field or location (Practice Field, Qualification Field, Finals Field, Exhibit Hall, etc..).  Shifts are labeled as (EM - Early Morning, M - Morning, EA - Early Afternoon, EV - Evening and LS - Late).  

Current positions available for sign-up:

Golden Spike

  • A9 Lot:             Loading Crew spots for pre-event set-up & Field Crew/Teardown & Inventory
  • Exhibit Hall:      Bus Stop Attendant, Event Support Staff/Go-To Group, Hospitality Volunteers
  • Practice Field:  Access Control, Bus Stop Attendant, Field Crew (set-up/event mgt/tear down),                             
  •                        Water Station Attendants
  • Qualification Field:   Access Control, Bus Stop Attendant, Field Crew (set-up/event mgt/tear down),   
  •                               Results Area/Score Card Distribution, Water Station Attendant
Lindquist Field
  • Field Crew (set-up/event mgt/tear down), Field of Play/Practice Field of Play (set-up/event mgt/tear down)
  • Results/Scorecard Distribution, Hospitality, Volunteer/Event Mgt/Go-To Group
Off Site Venues:
  • Ogden Marriot & Ogden Hampton Inn - Registration/Hotel Hospitality Volunteers
  • Salt Lake City Airport - Greeters
New shifts are added continually and changes will be made according to scheduling needs.  
Please make sure to read the job description and requirements of each position carefully.  If you have any questions as to the physical demands of a particular responsibility, please feel free to contact us for more details.     

Once you complete registering and signing up for the shifts you are interested in, please make sure to mark your calendar for Thursday, June 14th for the Volunteer Orientation Dinner at the Golden Spike Exhibit Hall.  More details will be sent with a reminder email prior to your shifts.
